Treco was one of the first clients I met with after we moved down from Minnesota. We met for coffee, and I swear I fell in love with her eyes. They’re amazing. For a lot of people, the fun part of being a photographer is taking the photos and capturing the great shots. I know for a fact that for me, it’s meeting the extraordinary, blessed, and creative people that make this job *fun* for me. Anyway. Back to falling in love with Treco’s eyes…
Had I never met Treco, and she never hired me to photograph her and Ray’s wedding this coming October, I would have never met Ray, and seen the two of them in action together. That sounds horrible, now that I read it back, but I have to fall in love with my clients a little bit, and they with me, in order to take the photos that we both love. I’ve said this to every couple I’ve photographed, but if you don’t like me as a person, you’re going to hate me at your wedding, and end up hating your wedding photos because of it. So, let’s do everyone a huge favor, and make sure we love one another… because it truly shows in photos like these!
Treco and Ray, I was so glad we braved the heat, a little flash flood inducing rain, and a long walk through the American Tobacco Campus together, because now I am SO EXCITED (and I know I say that a lot!) to get to see you both again in October for your wedding.
