I am so thrilled to announce Emily and Phillip’s wedding photos. I absolutely adore this couple, and couldn’t have been more honored or happy to work with them and their families. I feel like a big part of being wedding photographer, beyond the obvious job of taking photos and capturing the moments you’re there for, is to lend a hand when needed to ensure that those moments can happen. (Now, this isn’t true photo journalism, but I never claimed to be a photo journalist.) Some times, weddings run behind, grooms men get lost, flowers arrive early… or in Emily’s case, things just run a little bit behind the morning of the wedding. Trust me, this is coming from a wedding photographer who was 10 minutes late to her own wedding… it happens, and it’s not the end of the world.
My job, not only as the wedding photographer, but in theory, the most experienced person in the room at weddings, is to help things along when needed. Whether it be making sure I get all the flowers photographed before things get busy, or make sure the flowers are in the right location… Ya know, whatever it takes, and this is what I did at Emily and Phillip’s wedding.
Enough about me, here are some juicy details of the their wedding. They were married on a gorgeous, warm day in June, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Raleigh NC. Well, instead of telling you about it… let me show you how lovely their day was!
