Lori and Joe will be getting married this July, at the beautiful Washington Duke Inn, so we took some time before the heat hit us this summer and conquered our engagement session at the lovely Duke Gardens. If you follow my blog, you know that Duke Gardens has not been the easiest of places for me this season, with massive traffic problems. So, I convinced Lori and Joe to meet me super early one day, 9am, so we could get some great light for their engagement session. It was completely, and utterly, empty. It was the 3 of us with the landscaping folks… boy did I feel silly! But, that means we can do all sorts of fun stuff and not worry about anyone getting into the pictures!
After our session, I am thrilled to get to know Lori and Joe a little better, and looking forward to their wedding in July. Joe, though not included in these photos, has a great sense of humor, and it make the time fly for the session. I was seriously snickering at some of his joke and comments for the rest of the day from our session- it’s not everyone who can do that!
