Welcome

Hi there, and thanks for visiting my photography blog! I like to use this little space on the Internet to show people images I take professionally, and personally in my life. Images of my constantly patient husband, family, friends, cats (who are not so patient!), and life in general are some of the pictures you should expect to find.

If by any chance you're interested in booking me as your photographer, for either a portrait session, wedding, or another event in your life you want documented I can be reached either by phone (952.807.4188) or email (info@katepetersphotography.com). Also, please skip over to my main site, Kate Peters Photography to view some more of my work, availability, and package information.

Thanks for swinging by and have a great day!

Rick and Sierra, Married July 19th, 2009

Rick ans Sierra were married at the historic Landmark Center in Saint Paul, MN.  Their reception was also at the Landmark Center.  It was truly gorgeous and I am so happy to have experienced such a loving and thoughtful wedding.

Carissa and Derek, married 7.18.09

Carissa and Derek had known each other for 12.5 years before their wedding date last month.  I absolutely love these two!  They’re so warm, generous, caring, and special in their love for each other, I feel it was a priviledge for me to be there and experiene their wedding, meet their families, and be a part of their day.  Congratulation Carissa and Derek!

Check out their Wedding Day Slideshow for more images from this wedding!

Josh and Jessie

I photographed Josh and Jessie at Lake Calhoun a few weeks ago. They were super fun to photograph, and after we all got used to the camera, the pictures went by fast, and were terribly fun. I am so looking forward to photographing their wedding in October.

Mark and Emily – Engagement Session

I will be photographing Mark and Emily’s wedding in August, so I was very excited to get some face time with them before the wedding to get to know them better.  I loved photographing these two, they were just too fun, and so in love with each other.

2009 UNC- Chapel Hill Graduate Mary

So my sister-in-law graduated from the prestigous UNC-Chapel Hill (I say prestigious because I happened to graduate in 2003 from there as well!)  Mary wanted some great graduation pictures, and with the two of us, we like hanging out anyway, so it was a a rip roaring fun session of haning out and her feeling awkward in front of the camera.  The great news is that it had rained that morning in Chapel Hill, so the clouds were, well, cloudy, and the grass and leaves were wet, so the normally swamped picture spots were empty.  It was lovely.  We ended right as the humidity started ramping up, and promptly drove to the coast.

That being said, the last one in front of the Planetarium and Sundial was my favorite in the bunch.  Scroll down and see why!
