Welcome to my blog!

Hi there and thanks for visiting my blog! I use this space to show off some of my favorite images from the weddings, engagement sessions, and portrait work I do. I also Love to travel, so I share a lot of my photography from the places I visit and family here as well.

As a wedding photographer, I believe heart and soul that weddings are one of the most beautiful events to experience and share with a couple. There is nothing like sharing a couple's first moments together as man and wife, seeing the Love they have for one another, and being able to document that emotion for their future. If I said I was in it for the "warm fuzzies", would you believe me? Well, I am. There's nothing more rewarding than taking amazing wedding pictures for my clients to keep and share with family and friends.

And the photo is a goofy picture my sister, also a photographer took at a wedding we photographed together. I was 6 months pregnant, and I really don't crack that cheesy grin often :) -Kate

Tony and Shawna are Married

Tony and Shawna were married on June 26th, 2010, at Luther Memorial Church. I absolutely loved their wedding, and how all the details tied together with bright yellow, the same yellow as the flowers in the bouquets. The energy Tony and Shawna had was fantastic, you could definitely see how they were meant for each other, and how both families were proud to be there for the wedding. Their reception was held at the Red Barn VFW in Cottage Grove. Below are some of my favorites from their day.
