2009 UNC- Chapel Hill Graduate Mary

So my sister-in-law graduated from the prestigous UNC-Chapel Hill (I say prestigious because I happened to graduate in 2003 from there as well!)  Mary wanted some great graduation pictures, and with the two of us, we like hanging out anyway, so it was a a rip roaring fun session of haning out and her feeling awkward in front of the camera.  The great news is that it had rained that morning in Chapel Hill, so the clouds were, well, cloudy, and the grass and leaves were wet, so the normally swamped picture spots were empty.  It was lovely.  We ended right as the humidity started ramping up, and promptly drove to the coast.

That being said, the last one in front of the Planetarium and Sundial was my favorite in the bunch.  Scroll down and see why!

Atlantic Beach and Fort Macon, North Carolina

This year for Christmas, as my husband and I always do, we flew to North Carolina to spend the holidays with family and dear friends.  Part of our time we spent in Chapel Hill/Raleigh, and the other part we drove 3 hours East to the coast, and Havelock, North Carolina.  Everytime we visit, we have to go to the beach, even in Winter.  There’s something about hearing the roar of the ocean that sets a piece of you right on the inside.

It was windy while we were there, and cold!  Here are some images from Atlantic Beach, and Fort Macon.
