Modern, Simple, Classic - Photography to share and last a lifetime
Welcome to my blog!
Hi there and thanks for visiting my blog! I use this space to show off some of my favorite images from the weddings, engagement sessions, and portrait work I do. I also Love to travel, so I share a lot of my photography from the places I visit and family here as well.
As a wedding photographer, I believe heart and soul that weddings are one of the most beautiful events to experience and share with a couple. There is nothing like sharing a couple's first moments together as man and wife, seeing the Love they have for one another, and being able to document that emotion for their future. If I said I was in it for the "warm fuzzies", would you believe me? Well, I am. There's nothing more rewarding than taking amazing wedding pictures for my clients to keep and share with family and friends.
And the photo is a goofy picture my sister, also a photographer took at a wedding we photographed together. I was 6 months pregnant, and I really don't crack that cheesy grin often :) -Kate
Congratulations Dave and Chrissy! It was my pleasure to photograph your wedding and celebrate with your family and friends!

I’ve been dying to get these photos finished to share with everyone! Matthew and Kim had the honor of being my first couple to be married in 2010, and I am so honored that they chose me to photograph their wedding. I can’t say enough about how fun they have been to work with, and what amazing family and friends they have! It’s been an absolute joy for me to work with them, and I have to say, I was a little sad when I got in my car to go home after their reception.
I started the day with Kim and her bridesmaids getting ready.
Once Kim’s hair was done, we jumped in my car (and narrowly avoided Matthew) to go get Kim’s makeup done.
Kim and I arrived at Guardian Angel’s Church, in Woodbury, MN right on time. Kim had wanted to see Matthew before the ceremony, so we staged a reveal in the old chapel at Guardian Angels, since the rain kept us out of the beautiful gardens on the grounds.
The ceremony was gorgeous, and very special, with Matthew and Kim’s mother’s lighting their respective candles, and both sets of parents ushering them up the aisle. The blessing was especially touching.
There was a little pit-stop between the ceremony and reception to Woody’s in Bayport. Little did I know, they also had a bowling alley.
Matthew and Kim had their reception at Dellwoods Golf Course, near White Bear Lake. I loved their cake! Check out the detail with the little fishies.
